The Dalinian triangle is formed by the municipalities of Figueres, P\u00fabol and Portlligat, located 10km, 27km and 36km respectively from Somnis de l’ Empord\u00e0.<\/p>\n
Salvador Dal\u00ed is considered by many a genius, by others a madman or an eccentric… but what is undisputed is that he was one of the greatest exponents of surrealist art worldwide. His creative activity, apart from painting, was also evident in film, design and writing, merging the character, the work and turning him into a provocateur. We propose you to follow Salvador Dal\u00ed’s footsteps.<\/p>\n
The Dal\u00ed Museum Theater was designed by Dal\u00ed himself and offers visitors a unique and captivating experience into the surrealist world of the painter. The tour through the rooms allows us to observe his early artistic experiences, surrealism, nuclear mysticism and passion for science until we reach the works of the last years. (If you visit the Dal\u00ed museum in August, it is open at night and with a guide. It is an experience not to be missed.<\/p>\n

La Casa Museo Dal\u00ed<\/strong> fue construida sobre unas antiguas barracas de pescadores en Portlligat (Cadaques) Por dentro, tiene una estructura laber\u00edntica donde es f\u00e1cil perderse y est\u00e0 decorada con una colecci\u00f3n de objetos que fue coleccionando a lo largo de su vida. Entre sus aposentos, se pueden contemplar su taller, la biblioteca, las habitaciones donde transcurr\u00eda su vida diaria, jard\u00edn y la piscina.<\/li>\n
P\u00fabol es el pueblo donde Dal\u00ed compr\u00f3 el castillo medieval del s.XIV como regalo a su mujer y musa Gala.<\/strong> Fue el propio Dal\u00ed quien se encarg\u00f3 de la decoraci\u00f3n de su interior con antig\u00fcedades, simbolog\u00eda rom\u00e1ntica y barroca. Como curiosidad cabe destacar, que s\u00f3lo pod\u00eda visitarla quien tuviera una invitaci\u00f3n escrita por ella, incluso el propio Dal\u00ed la necesitaba. A partir del a\u00f1o 1982, Dal\u00ed se retir\u00f3 de la vida p\u00fablica debido a la muerte de su musa Gala y el Castillo Gala-Dal\u00ed<\/strong> se convirti\u00f3 en su \u00faltimo taller y en el mausoleo de su amada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n
Perelada Castle<\/h2>\n\n
The castle of Perelada is located 19 km from Somnis de l’ Empord\u00e0, is a medieval fortress of the fourteenth century flanked by two imposing towers and surrounded by a lake, with 8 hectares of magical gardens. During the summer months, the castle becomes the perfect setting for the celebration of the Perelada Festival. The castle houses a casino, a restaurant with <\/strong>Michelin star, one of the largest private libraries in Catalonia and a museum.<\/p>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n
